Best Offline Android Games which Worth to Playing

Android game has a huge market in India and this game market growth day to day.The continuous development in the smartphone has made it possible for top game developers to hit the Google Play Store with their best lot.

But, there is one drawback with the play store that most of the best games out there require an internet connection to function. This often affects the gaming experience and limits players in a country like India where finding an internet connection can be a task on its own.

If you don’t have an internet connection to play your favorite mobile games you’ll want to play offline Android games. Ones that don’t need WiFi to work. With that in mind, we’ve gathered up a list of some of the best options available to keep you entertained.

Here some of the games in our list do need internet access at least once. Meaning you’ll need to install the game, then open it and wait for it to download additional files or sync to servers. Once that happens, you’ll be able to play without WiFi later.

1) Fallout Shelter

Type : Construction and management simulation

Rating : 4.6/5

Fallout is one of the most popular console games of all times. Players can enjoy it for hundreds of hours on end and love every minute of it. While many of you have probably played Fallout: Shelter on mobile, did you know it works without WiFi? This is a perfect game to enjoy while on a plane.

Fallout Shelter is similar to SimBuilder type games where you build a village and make everyone happy. Only this takes place in an underground bunker after the world was destroyed. It's similar to the popular console game but obviously different in many ways. All said and done, Fallout Shelter is an extremely popular mobile game that everyone can enjoy.

2) Grand Theft Auto

Type : Arcade

Rating : 4.2/5

If you're a fan of the Grand Theft Auto franchise on PC or console, why not play them on Android? Luckily for us, Rockstar Games has actually ported five GTA titles to mobile devices. Most of them work without WiFi too. Just remember to download the rather large game files first, before you leave the house or an active internet connection.

My personal favorite still has to be Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Although all four are fun. The graphics are amazing, basically the same as a console, and the controls are surprisingly good. Not to mention most have Bluetooth controller support. Try Vice City, San Andreas and others, or download them all.

3) Plants vs. Zombies 2

Type : Arcade

Rating : 4.2/5

Plants vs. Zombies 2 is a game that has stood up against the test of time. Whether you play it on Facebook, a computer, or with an Android smartphone or tablet. It's the same enjoyable and addicting experience. Plants vs. Zombies 2 is the first game Google themselves suggests for those who don't have WiFi.

The goal is to protect your plants from incoming zombies as they walk across the lawn. You'll be growing plants to help you level up, shoot zombies as they try to attack, set cherry bombs and more. It's fun, addicting, yet frustrating when you get over-run with zombies and have to start all over.

4) Monument Valley

Type : Puzzle

Rating : 4.7/5

Monument Valley is an award-winning game that took the iOS world by storm a little while back, and has since been released on Android. It's over a year old, but still one of my favorite games.

The graphics are crisp, sharp and pretty, all while being simple at the same time. The music is calming and peaceful while you relax and do some puzzle-solving. This is a great way to relax if you're nervous while flying, or just want to pass the time.

The goal is Manipulate impossible architectures and slowly but surely let the princess find her way home. It has won more awards than any game in recent memory, and continues to get better. A recent update added 8 new chapters too. So if you haven't played it in a while, give it another try today.

5) Subway Surfers

Type : Endless Runner Platform game

Rating : 4.5/5

Subway Surfers is an endless runner similar to TempleRun, and loads of fun. You'll dash and run as fast as you can while dodging incoming subway trains. Whether they are coming at you, or stopped on the tracks, you'll have to avoid them. Or jump over a train and earn some power-ups along the way.

It's a simple game but fun for hours on end, and easier enough that kids of all ages can enjoy it. Subway Surfers is perfect to keep kids calm and entertained. They even have a new Hover-board for true surfing while dodging trains. If you haven't played it yet, i'd highly recommend this one.

6) Cut The Rope (Time Travel)

Type : Puzzle

Rating : 4.5/5

Cut The Rope is another one of those games that most have probably played at one point or another over the past 5-6 years. It's fun for people of all ages too, including your kids. Although younger ones might get a little frustrated and need some help.

They've released multiple games, and Cut The Rope: Time Travel is one of the best. The gameplay mechanics can't be beaten and the graphics are cute. The little guy Om-Nom travels back in time to feed his old family members candy, with your help. Just know, it works without WiFi and will keep you entertained.

7) Angry Birds (Star Wars)

Type : Puzzle

Rating : 4.5/5

Angry Birds is a video game franchise created by Finnish company Rovio Entertainment. The series focuses on multi-colored birds who try to save their eggs from green-colored pigs, their enemies

Without saying too much, just know that essentially all Angry Birds games on the Google Play Store work without WiFi. It's also something you know, so there's no learning curve. Even the new Angry Birds Star Wars works offline and has over 250 levels. Yup.

8) The Badland

Type : Puzzle

Rating : 4.5/5

The Badland series easily tops our list of the best adventure games with their fantastic physics-based gameplay and out of the box levels to complete.

The games are based on the side-scrolling concept where you have to keep into account various variables like liquids, flamethrowers, frost, magma and water to survive.

The media has often hailed the entries as masterpieces which are a must experience for every Android, gaming enthusiast.

This game is simply brilliant. It's by far one of my favorite games for Android, and you'll probably feel the same. It has beautiful inverted graphics, with a silhouette of the character you're playing. The backgrounds and landscape are beautiful artwork that anyone can appreciate.

9) Traffic Rider

Type : Race

Rating : 4.7/5

Next one on the list is in the biking category. It takes the endless racing genre to a different note with the help of a full career mode.

The goal is to drive through the traffic and achieve the various objectives the game offers.

A first person driving view and vivid graphics add to the gaming experience. Traffic Rider finds it's differentiating variable in the fact that the bike noises have been recorded with the help of real bikes.

10) Minecraft:Pocket Edition

Type :  Arcade

Rating : 4.5/5

Sometimes I feel like Minecraft has taken over the world. It's everywhere. The game is enjoyed by millions of people daily across all different platforms. The mobile version, called "Pocket Edition” it works great without an internet connection, and you can still save your progress and entire world locally on the device.

Minecraft brought the power to build amazing worlds in the palm of the hands of the fans with this entry in the smartphone space.

There are two primary modes in the game – Creative mode and Survival mode.

In creative mode, you have unlimited resources at your disposal and can build the world of your dreams to your heart’s content, giving birth to amazing masterpieces.

In survival mode, the objective would be to craft weapons and armor to fend off mob threats.

Download it, create a world and do whatever you can imagine. The possibilities are endless.
